June 2023 marks the 22nd National "Work Safety Month" in China, with the theme "Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Can Respond." To further enhance employees' awareness of fire safety, test the functionality of the company's firefighting facilities, and strengthen all staff's emergency response and self-protection capabilities in accordance with the Work Safety Month requirements, the Group's Safety Committee invited the Jieshou City Fire Brigade to conduct fire safety knowledge training and a fire drill on the afternoon of June 9.

First, Staff Officer Yang from the Jieshou City Fire Brigade conducted fire safety knowledge training for all employees. The training focused on how to prevent fires in production and daily life, the correct methods for evacuation during a fire, and the appropriate extinguishing methods for different types of fires. By combining specific case studies with video demonstrations, Staff Officer Yang made the learning engaging and significantly improved the training effectiveness.

Following the theoretical training, all employees moved to an outdoor area for the practical fire drill. Staff Officer Yang explained how to use firefighting equipment correctly and guided employees through actual fire extinguishing operations, patiently correcting any mistakes or answering questions. Subsequently, everyone learned how to operate a fire hydrant properly, with Production Department Manager Xiao Yanqiang providing a demonstration.

"A production frontline employee, work safety is our top priority. This training was immensely beneficial. I not only learned about fire safety and how to respond and escape during a fire but also mastered basic firefighting skills," shared an employee from the production workshop.

  This training session effectively combined theory with practice. It strengthened the overall fire safety awareness of all personnel, improved their practical firefighting skills, and honed their ability to remain calm and respond effectively in the event of a fire, laying a solid foundation for efficient and orderly safety in production.
